Rosetted perennial, herb, 0.12-0.38 m high, Leaves tufted, linear, 5-25 cm long, 0.7-1.5 mm wide, apex acute, margin involute, glabrous or scabrous. Membraneous scale leaves present at base of mature leaves. Scape glandular throughout, pilose at base. Inflorescence racemose. Fl. white-cream, Aug to Oct. Deep sand or sandy loam over laterite. Hillslopes and crests, breakaways. Banksia woodland, heath, open Eucalypt woodland.
