Erect shrub or tree, 2-8 m high, with epicormic buds. Fl. yellow/green-yellow, Oct to Dec or Jan to Feb. Grey or yellow sand, sandy loam or laterite.

Trees or Shrubs, 3-4 m high; branchlets hairy, ribbed. Leaves alternate, 40-105 mm mm long, 10-45 mm mm wide, glabrous; lamina flat, widest around the middle or clearly widest above the middle, entire, smooth, the margins flat; apex obtuse. Inflorescences yellow; pedicels 2.5-5 mm long, glabrous. Perianth 8-11 mm long, radially symmetrical, glabrous; anther appendage absent; ovary glabrous; pistil 7-11 mm long. Flowers in January, October, November or December. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Swan Coastal Plain (SWA), Jarrah Forest (JF), Warren (WAR) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s).
