Erect, lignotuberous shrub or tree, 1-5 m high. Fl. yellow, Nov to Dec or Jan to Feb. Grey or yellow sand, sandy loam or laterite.

Scientific Description

Trees or Shrubs, 1-5 m high; branchlets glabrous, ribbed. Leaves alternate, 130-180 mm long, 3-5 mm wide, glabrous; lamina flat, widest around the middle, entire, smooth, the margins flat; apex obtuse. Inflorescences yellow; pedicels 4-5 mm long, hairy. Perianth 15-17 mm long, radially symmetrical, hairy, the hairs appressed; anther appendage absent; ovary glabrous; pistil 11-12 mm long. Flowers in January, February, November or December. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Swan Coastal Plain (SWA), Jarrah Forest (JF), Warren (WAR) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s).
