Erect to decumbent or almost prostrate, lignotuberous shrub, 0.2-0.8 m high. Fl. yellow, Sep to Dec. White or yellow sand, often over laterite.

Shrubs, 0.3-1 m high; branchlets hairy, not ribbed. Leaves alternate, 8-15 mm mm long, 2-4 mm mm wide, glabrous; lamina flat, widest around the middle, entire, scabrous, the margins flat; apex pungent. Inflorescences yellow; pedicels 2-3 mm long, hairy or glabrous. Perianth 7-9 mm long, radially symmetrical, glabrous; anther appendage absent; ovary glabrous; pistil 9-11 mm long. Flowers in September, October, November or December. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Geraldton Sandplains (GS) or Avon Wheatbelt (AW) IBRA subregion(s). Conservation code Priority Three (P3).
