Erect shrub, 0.2-1 m high. Fl. pink & other/white, Aug to Dec. White, grey or yellow sand, often over laterite. Sandplains.

Scientific Description

Shrubs, 0.5-1 m high; branchlets glabrous. Leaves alternate, 35-115 mm long, 2-12 mm wide, glabrous; lamina flat, widest around the middle, clearly widest above the middle or more or less the same width throughout, entire. Inflorescences not viscid, pink or grey. Perianth 25-35 mm long, hairy, the limb apex hairy all over; pistil 27-34 mm long; pollen presenter not fusiform, hairy, 5.5-7.2 mm long, the brush 3-4 mm long. Cone with persistent scales, 23-25 mm long. Flowers in August, September, October, November or December. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Geraldton Sandplains (GS), Swan Coastal Plain (SWA), Jarrah Forest (JF) or Warren (WAR) IBRA subregion(s).
