Low spreading or erect, non-lignotuberous shrub, (0.05-)0.1-0.6(-1) m high. Fl. yellow-cream, Aug to Dec. White, grey or yellow sand, laterite, sandy clay. Sandplains, lateritic ridges, winter-wet flats.

Shrubs, 0.5-1 m high; branchlets glabrous. Leaves alternate, 45-160 mm mm long, 1-1.5 mm mm wide, glabrous; lamina terete, entire, straight or curved, smooth, apex acute, 0.8-1 mm long. Inflorescences not viscid, cream or yellow. Perianth 17-22 mm long, hairy, the limb apex hairy all over; pistil 18-23 mm long; pollen presenter not fusiform, hairy, 3.8-6 mm long, the brush 2.3-3.7 mm long. Cone with persistent scales, 10-25 mm long. Flowers in August, September, October, November or December. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Avon Wheatbelt (AW), Jarrah Forest (JF), Mallee (MAL) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s).
