Tree or shrub, to 15 m high, bark smooth silvery-grey, dark and rough at base; spreading branches with pendulous terminal branchlets. Fl. white/yellow/orange/green, Feb or May to Jun. Red-brown sandy clay, laterite soils, rocky sandstone soils, basalt. Coastal areas, sandstone screes & cliffs, hilltops and gullies, vine thickets.
