Rosetted perennial, herb, 0.2-0.7 m high, Leaves tufted, linear to narrowly oblanceolate, 2-8 cm long, 0.6-2 mm wide, apex subacute to acute, margin entire, glabrous. Scape glabrous. Inflorescence racemose. Fl. yellow, Sep to Nov. Grey or white sand or sandy loam. Plains and hillslopes, mallee shrubland, Proteaceous heath.
