Rhizomatous, perennial, herb or (fern), 0.15-0.5 m high, frond 2-3-pinnate; stipe blackish-brown, hard, hairy; sori marginal in notches, reniform. Fl. Feb or May to Jun. Crevices in lateritic rocks.
