Rhizomatous, perennial, herb or (fern), 0.05-0.5 m high, blade 1-pinnate; stipe blackish-brown, hard, glabrous; sori marginal between sinuses. Fl. Feb or May to Oct. Loam. Rocky crevices, damp rock ledges near creeks and waterfalls, vine thicket gorges.
