Shrub, to 1 m high. White,yellow or grey sand, laterite gravel. Elevated sites.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 0.4-1 m high; branchlets glabrous. Leaves alternate, 20-60 mm long, 1-1.5 mm wide, glabrous; lamina terete, entire, straight or curved, smooth, apex pungent, 1.4-1.5 mm long. Inflorescences not viscid, white, cream or yellow. Perianth 18-21 mm long, hairy, the limb apex hairy all over; pistil 18-22 mm long; pollen presenter not fusiform, hairy, 3.5-5.5 mm long, the brush 2-2.5 mm long. Cone with persistent scales. Flowers in July, August, September or October. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Geraldton Sandplains (GS) or Avon Wheatbelt (AW) IBRA subregion(s).
