Shrub, to 2 m high, bark grey, long fissures on main stems, smooth on branches; inflorescences of heads. Fl. yellow, Sep. Stony red-brown clay loams, laterite, banded ironstone, basalt. Rock outcrops, base of rocky hills, gentle slopes.
