Scientific Description

Prostrate shrubs; branchlets hairy. Leaves petiolate, alternate, 130-290 mm long, 7-14 mm wide, hairy; petiole 25-50 mm long; lamina flat, once divided, pinnately divided, divided to the midrib, with 10-35 lobes on each side, the margins revolute. Inflorescences pubescent (with soft, straight, erect hairs), white, cream or yellow; innermost bracts 65-75 mm long, hairy. Perianth 43-52 mm long, hairy or glabrous, limb apex hirsute (with long, rough and coarse hairs), without awns; pistil 45-58 mm long, curved, style hairy. Follicles glabrous, obovate, 18-19 mm long. Flowers in August or September. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Mallee (MAL) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Two (P2).
