Spreading, low domed or occasionally spindly, fragrant (vanilla scented) shrub or tree, 0.5-3(-5) m high. Fl. yellow, Aug to Oct. Saline or alkaline loam, clay, clay loam or sand. Margins of salt lakes, saline depressions.
