Deciduous tree, 3-18 m high, flowers sessile, 15-30 in ultimate clusters; leaves bipinnate, drying much darker above. Fl. white-cream, Jan to Feb. Sand or alluvium. Near-coastal areas in open woodland, rainforest margins, along streams.
