Dense tree or shrub, to 6 m high, leaves bipinnate, leaflets 5-20-jugate, opposite; stamens 10, free. Fl. white-cream, Jan to Feb or Apr or Jun to Sep or Nov. Variety of sand, clay & loam soils, red gravel. Margins of rivers and mangrove swamps, monsoon forest among coastal dunes.
