Shrub or tree, 1-10 m high, leaves bipinnate, leaflets opposite; flowers in racemes; stamens numerous, united basally. Fl. yellow/green-yellow, Apr to Oct. Sandy or granitic soils. Winter-wet depressions, near creeks or swamps, granite outcrops.
