Twining or climbing plants, shrub, spindly shrub (broom-like). Stems terete, not spiny, glabrous; pustules or glands absent. Leaves or phylloclades clearly present, simple, alternate, not continuous with stem, 20-45 mm long, 8-32 mm wide, hairy or glabrous, with simple hairs, flat with flat margins; margins entire; tubercles absent; pustules or glands absent. Stipules present and persistent to older leaves, 3 mm long, without glands, ribless. Pedicel present, 22-40 mm long, glabrous. Bracteoles present and persistent, 5 mm long, hairy, not striate. Calyx 10-13 mm long, not accrescent, glabrous, ribless; pustules or glands absent. Corolla 13-22 mm long, multicoloured, mostly yellow or orange, with some yellow or orange spots, streaks or blotches; claws present; standard 15-17 mm long, glabrous, not auriculate, wings 10-15 mm long, not auriculate, keel 9-12 mm long, not beaked, not auriculate, glabrous. Stamens ten; anthers 0.7-0.9 mm long, at two different levels (filaments alternately long and short); filaments free (or united at the very base), 8-12.6 mm long. Ovary glabrous; style 11.5-14 mm long, glabrous, not bearded, terete. Fruit dehiscent (a pod or follicle), 10.5-11 mm long, 9.6-12 mm wide, not constricted between the seeds, round in cross-section, glabrous, not beaked. Flowers in August, September, October, November and December. Occurs in the South-West Botanical Province, in the Jarrah Forest, Warren, Esperance and Swan Coastal Plain IBRA regions.
