Shrubs. Stems, cross section square or more or less circular. Peltate scales absent. Leaves 10-45 mm long, 3-10 mm wide, opposite, entire, bullate, not viscid. Margins entire. Bracteoles absent. Bracts present. 3.5-6.5. mm long Pedicel present, 2-6 mm long, with simple, dendritic hairs, peltate scales hairs present. Calyx with five lobes, 4.5-9.5 mm long, not accrescent, dense, with simple, dendritic hairs, not bullate. Corolla blue, mauve, purple, lilac or violet or red or pink, 12-20 mm long, Dots or stripes in throat absent, wih simple, dendritic hairs, not viscid, with four stamens, style 10-13 mm long, filament 3-5.5 mm long, anthers 2-2.3 mm long. Appendage absent. Flowering time January, February, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November or December. Distribution Botanical Province South-West, IBRA Bioregion Geraldton Sandplains, Swan Coastal Plain, Avon Wheatbelt, Jarrah Forest or Mallee.
