Shrubs or prostrate sprawling shrubs. Stems, cross section more or less circular. Peltate scales absent. Leaves 10-30 mm long, 0.8-1.5 mm wide, opposite, entire, with dendritic, gland tipped hairs hairs, not bullate, not viscid. Margins entire. Bracteoles absent. Bracts present. 7-12. mm long Pedicel present, 0.5-3 mm long, with glandular, dendritic hairs, peltate scales hairs present. Calyx with five lobes, 5-7 mm long, not accrescent, moderately dense, with glandular, dendritic hairs, not bullate. Corolla red or red or pink, 16-22 mm long, Dots or stripes in throat absent, wih simple, dendritic hairs, not viscid, with four stamens, style 8-9 mm long, filament 1-3.5 mm long, anthers 1.4-1.6 mm long. Appendage absent. Flowering time May, July, September, October or November. Distribution Botanical Province South-West, IBRA Bioregion Geraldton Sandplains, Swan Coastal Plain or Mallee.
