Erect, shrub, spindly shrub (broom-like). Stems terete, not spiny, glabrous; pustules or glands absent. Leaves or phylloclades absent or apparently so (reduced to scales), alternate, not continuous with stem, glabrous, flat with flat margins; margins entire; tubercles absent; pustules or glands absent. Stipules present and persistent to older leaves. Pedicel present, 1.5-3 mm long, glabrous. Bracteoles absent. Calyx 3-4 mm long, not accrescent, glabrous, ribless; pustules or glands absent. Corolla 9-12 mm long, uniformly coloured, yellow; claws present; standard 10-11 mm long, glabrous, not auriculate, wings 9-10.5 mm long, not auriculate, keel 8-10 mm long, not beaked, not auriculate, glabrous. Stamens ten; anthers 0.4-0.5 mm long, at two different levels (filaments alternately long and short); filaments free (or united at the very base), 6-7 mm long. Ovary glabrous; style 8.5-10 mm long, glabrous, not bearded, terete. Fruit indehiscent and splitting into sections (schizocarps), not constricted between the seeds. Flowers in January, October, November and December. Occurs in the in the Geraldton Sandplains, Jarrah Forest, Warren, Esperance and Swan Coastal Plain IBRA regions.
