Erect, open, prostrate perennial, herb, to 0.3 m high. Fl. pink-blue, Aug or Oct to Dec. Black or yellow sand, brown or red or grey sandy loam, brown sandy clay, gravel, laterite, granite, limestone. Rock crevices, hills, slopes, sand dunes, beside lakes, coastal areas.
