Prostrate or ascending perennial, herb, 0.05-0.3 m high, plants villous; leaflet pairs 5-7; petals 15-18mm long; fruit subglabrous with median pair of spines. Fl. yellow, Jan to Dec (opportunistic). Sand or sandy loam. Dunes, rocky coast, plains.
