Shrub. Stems hairy. Leaves 25-35 mm long, 7-14 mm wide, not lobed; margins entire; indumentum present, with stellate hairs; stipules apparently absent, even from youngest leaves. Perianth of two whorls but the corolla reduced to small scales or tiny lobes at the base of the ovary. Pedicel present, 0.5-3 mm long; indumentum present, with stellate hairs. Epicalyx (extra segments or 'bracteoles' immediately below the calyx) present, 5-11 mm long, the lobes free, indumentum present, stellate hairs present. Calyx white, 4-9 mm long, the lobes fused less than half their length, stellate hairs present. Corolla 0.8-1.5 mm long, glabrous. Stamens five, free and inserted at the base of the ovary; filaments present, 1-1.2 mm long; anthers 1.6-2.8 mm long. Staminodes absent. Ovary hairs or scales present, stellate hairs present; style 1, with a lobed or capitate stigma, 2-2.5 mm long, with one style branches or lobes, mostly glabrous. Flowering time September. Distribution Botanical Province Eremaean, IBRA Bioregion Pilbara, Carnarvon, Gascoyne, Little Sandy Desert, Gibson Desert, Central Ranges or Murchison. Conservation Code Priority Two (P2).
