Scientific Description

Erect, shrub, spindly shrub (broom-like). Stems terete, not spiny, hairy; pustules or glands absent. Leaves or phylloclades clearly present, compound, alternate, 45-120 mm long, glabrous, flat with flat margins; margins entire; tubercles absent, pinnately arranged, terminal leaflet present; pustules or glands absent. Calyx 10-13 mm long, not accrescent, hairy, with glandular hairs, ribless; pustules or glands absent. Corolla multicoloured, pink, mostly purple; standard 9-12 mm long, glabrous, not auriculate, wings 7 mm long, not auriculate. Ovary; style 6 mm long. Flowers in March and May. Occurs in the Northern Botanical Province, in the Northern Kimberley IBRA regions.
