Herb or shrub. Stems glabrous. Leaves 5-17 mm long, 2-7 mm wide, not lobed; margins crenate; indumentum present, with stellate hairs; stipules present and persistent to older leaves. Perianth clearly of two whorls (calyx and corolla), the corolla obvious and prominent. Pedicel present, 2.5-5 mm long; indumentum present, with stellate hairs. Calyx green, 2-2.4 mm long, the lobes fused less than half their length, stellate hairs present. Corolla yellow, 3-3.2 mm long, glabrous. Stamens many, united and arising from a staminal tube around the style; filaments present, 0.4-0.5 mm long; anthers 0.2-0.3 mm long. Ovary hairs and scales absent (ovary quite glabrous); style 1, 1.8-3.2 mm long, with four or numerous style branches or lobes, mostly glabrous. Fruits dehiscent (capsules and follicles) (?), indehiscent and not splitting into sections (drupes) (?) or indehiscent and splitting into sections (schizocarps) (?). Flowering time February, August or September.
