Scientific Description

Stems ribbed. Leaves flat, 25-80 mm long, 4-8 mm wide, Indumentum present, with sparse, glandular hairs; margins toothed. Bracteoles absent. Pedicel pedicellate, Pedicel length the pedicels 5-11 mm long, Indumentum present, Hair type with simple hairs. Calyx lobes present, Calyx length 5-7.5 mm long, hairy, with sparse, simple hairs. Corolla yellow, 8-10 mm long, without auricles, not spurred, hairy on the outside, with sparse, simple hairs, glabrous on the inside; central lobes 3-3.5 mm long, with wings; outer lobes 5-6 mm long, wings present on both sides, 0.5-0.7 mm wide. Anthers free. Ovary superior, not gibbose; style 3-4 mm long, glabrous; indusium single, hairy; ovules more than two. Occurs in the Yalgoo (YAL), Murchison (MUR), Great Victoria Desert (GVD), Coolgardie (COO), Gascoyne (GAS), Little Sandy Desert(LSD), Geraldton Sandplains (GS) and Avon Wheatbelt (AW) IBRA Region(s), of the Eremaean (E) and South West (SW) Botanical Province.
