Scientific Description

Stems ribbed. Leaves flat, 50-105 mm long, 20-35 mm wide, Indumentum present, with dense, dendritic hairs; margins entire. Bracteoles present, 2.5-4 mm long, hairy, with glandular hairs. Pedicel pedicellate, Pedicel length the pedicels 1.5-9 mm long, Indumentum present, Hair type with glandular hairs. Calyx lobes present, Calyx length 1-1.5 mm long, hairy, with sparse, glandular hairs. Corolla yellow, 7.5-12 mm long, without auricles, not spurred, hairy on the outside, with sparse, glandular hairs, hairy on the inside; central lobes 2.5-5 mm long, with wings; outer lobes 4-6.5 mm long, wings present on both sides, 0.6-1.2 mm wide. Anthers free. Ovary inferior, not gibbose; style 3.7-5.5 mm long, glabrous; indusium single, hairy; ovules more than two. Flowers in August, September, October and November. Occurs in the Carnarvon (CAR), Geraldton Sandplains (GS) and Avon Wheatbelt (AW) IBRA Region(s), of the Eremaean (E) and South West (SW) Botanical Province.
