Scientific Description

Stems unribbed. Leaves flat, 20-130 mm long, 20-40 mm wide, Indumentum absent (leaves glabrous); margins entire. Bracteoles absent. Pedicel pedicellate, Pedicel length the pedicels 6-10 mm long, glabrous. Calyx lobes present, Calyx length 10-13 mm long, glabrous. Corolla yellow or cream, 17-23 mm long, auriculate, not spurred, glabrous on the outside, with sparse, hairy on the inside; central lobes 5-7.5 mm long, with wings; outer lobes 9-12 mm long, wing present on both sides and clearly unequal, 0.7-1.2 mm wide on the narrower side, 1.2-1.8 mm wide on the broader side. Anthers free. Ovary superior, not gibbose; style 10-12 mm long, hairy; indusium single, hairy; ovules more than two. Occurs in the Pilbara (PIL), Murchison (MUR), Great Victoria Desert (GVD), Coolgardie (COO), Central Ranges (CR), Gibson Desert (GD), Great Sandy Desert (GSD) and Little Sandy Desert(LSD) IBRA Region(s), of the Eremaean (E) Botanical Province.
