Scientific Description

Stems unribbed. Leaves flat, 30-100 mm long, 7-15 mm wide, Indumentum absent (leaves glabrous); margins entire, toothed or lobed. Bracteoles present, 3-4 mm long, glabrous. Pedicel pedicellate, Pedicel length the pedicels 22-26 mm long, glabrous. Calyx lobes present, Calyx length 5-7.5 mm long, glabrous. Corolla yellow, 15-22 mm long, without auricles, spurred, hairy on the outside, with sparse, glandular hairs, glabrous on the inside; central lobes 5-8.5 mm long, with wings; outer lobes 6-11 mm long, wings present on both sides, 1.5-2.3 mm wide. Anthers free. Ovary superior, not gibbose; style 8-9 mm long, glabrous; indusium single, hairy; ovules more than two. Occurs in the Pilbara (PIL), Yalgoo (YAL), Murchison (MUR), Great Victoria Desert (GVD), Coolgardie (COO), Central Ranges (CR), Gascoyne (GAS), Gibson Desert (GD), Great Sandy Desert (GSD) and Little Sandy Desert(LSD) IBRA Region(s), of the Eremaean (E) Botanical Province.
