Scientific Description

Stems unribbed. Leaves flat, 30-70 mm long, 8-18 mm wide, Indumentum present, with dense, simple hairs; margins entire. Bracteoles present, 1.7-2.5 mm long, hairy, with simple hairs. Pedicel pedicellate, Pedicel length the pedicels 2.5-5.5 mm long, Indumentum present, Hair type with simple hairs. Calyx lobes present, Calyx length 1-2 mm long, hairy, with dense, simple hairs. Corolla yellow, 8-12 mm long, without auricles, not spurred, hairy on the outside, with dense, simple hairs, hairy on the inside; central lobes 3-5 mm long, with wings; outer lobes 3.5-6 mm long, wings present on both sides, 0.5-1.2 mm wide. Anthers free. Ovary inferior, not gibbose; style 5-6.5 mm long, hairy; indusium single, hairy; ovules one or two. Occurs in the Yalgoo (YAL), Geraldton Sandplains (GS), Swan Coastal Plain (SWA), Avon Wheatbelt (AW), Jarrah Forest (JF) and Mallee (MAL) IBRA Region(s), of the Eremaean (E) and South West (SW) Botanical Province.
