Scientific Description

Stems unribbed. Leaves flat, 35-70 mm long, 7-15 mm wide, Indumentum absent (leaves glabrous) or present, with sparse, simple hairs; margins toothed or lobed. Bracteoles present, 1.5-2 mm long, hairy, with simple hairs. Pedicel pedicellate, Pedicel length the pedicels 5-22 mm long, glabrous. Calyx lobes present, Calyx length 5-7 mm long, hairy, with sparse, glandular hairs. Corolla pink, 10-19 mm long, without auricles, not spurred, hairy on the outside, with sparse, simple hairs, glabrous on the inside; central lobes 5.5-9 mm long, with wings; outer lobes 6-10 mm long, wing present on both sides and clearly unequal, 1.2-1.5 mm wide on the narrower side, 1.8-2 mm wide on the broader side. Anthers free. Ovary superior, not gibbose; style 6.7-7.5 mm long, glabrous; indusium single, hairy; ovules more than two. Occurs in the Yalgoo (YAL), Murchison (MUR), Great Victoria Desert (GVD), Coolgardie (COO), Carnarvon (CAR), Gascoyne (GAS), Nullabar (NUL), Geraldton Sandplains (GS) and Avon Wheatbelt (AW) IBRA Region(s), of the Eremaean (E) and South West (SW) Botanical Province.
