Rhizomatous, perennial, herb or (fern), 0.25-0.8 m high, fronds 1-pinnatifid, pilose; pinnae lobed more than half way to midrib; sori with hairy indusium. Fl. Aug. Sandstone crevices, amongst sandstone rocks.
