Slender, open-branched shrub, to 2 m high. Fl. white/cream/yellow, Apr to Dec. White to yellow sand, brown sandy clay, gravelly grey-brown loam, red loam, granite, laterite. Consolidated dunes, slopes, swampy ground, rock outcrops, breakaways.
