Tree or (mallet), 1.5-15(-24) m high, bark smooth, grey-brown, peeling. Fl. white-cream/yellow, Aug to Dec. Red-brown gravelly clay, brown clayey sand, sandy loam, spongolite, laterite, sandstone. Rocky outcrops, ridges, breakaways, hills, valley floors.
