(Mallee), to 7 m high, bark smooth, light pink to grey brown or red, often with accumulated older bark at base of trunk. Fl. cream/green/yellow, Jan to Mar or Jul or Sep or Nov to Dec. Sand, gravel, loam, granite, laterite, sandstone. Outcrops, coastal dunes, creek beds, hills, exposed slopes.
