(Mallee) or tree (occasionally), 2-12 m high, bark rough, fibrous & flaky at base, smooth above. Fl. white, Jul to Oct. White, yellow or red sand, sandy loam, sometimes with gravel. Undulating plains, sand dunes, near salt lakes.
