Prostrate or ascending annual or perennial (short-lived), herb, 0.1-0.2(-0.6) m high. Fl. white/blue, May to Dec or Jan. Saline & sandy soils, clay. Near salt swamps, samphire flats, along drainage lines, winter-wet depressions.
