Shrubs. Stems, cross section square or more or less circular. Peltate scales absent. Leaves 8-20 mm long, 2-5.5 mm wide, opposite, entire, with simple, dendritic, gland tipped hairs hairs, bullate, not viscid. Margins entire. Bracteoles absent. Bracts present. 2.5-4. mm long Pedicel present, 1.5-2.5 mm long, with simple, dendritic hairs, peltate scales hairs present. Calyx with five lobes, 5-7 mm long, not accrescent, dense, with simple, dendritic hairs, not bullate. Corolla red or red or pink, 15-30 mm long, Dots or stripes in throat absent, wih simple, dendritic hairs, not viscid, with four stamens, style 21-27 mm long, filament 5-12 mm long, anthers 1.8-2 mm long. Appendage absent. Flowering time July, August, September, October or November. Distribution Botanical Province Eremaeam or South-West, IBRA Bioregion Yalgoo, Great Victoria Desert, Murchison, Coolgardie, Avon Wheatbelt or Mallee.
