Much-branched shrub, 0.3-1.5 m high, leaves narrowly oblong to ovate; flowers 5-6 merous; corolla tube with dendritic hairs inside. Fl. blue-purple/white, Jun to Nov. Sandy & gravelly soils. Sandplains, dunes, grasslands, shrublands, open woodlands.
