Spreading shrub, (0.3-)0.6-1.5 m high. Fl. white & yellow, Sep to Dec. Lateritic or gravelly soils.

Scientific Description

Shrubs. Stems, cross section more or less circular. Peltate scales absent. Leaves 6-15 mm long, 2-5 mm wide, opposite, entire, with dendritic hairs, not bullate, not viscid. Margins entire. Bracteoles present, 3.5-5.5 mm long. Bracts absent. Pedicel absent (flowers sessile). Calyx with five lobes, 1.3-1.8 mm long, not accrescent, dense, with dendritic hairs, not bullate. Corolla yellow, 4.5-6 mm long, Dots or stripes in throat absent, not viscid, with four stamens, style 1-2 mm long, filament 0-0.4 mm long, anthers 0.5-0.8 mm long. Appendage absent. Flowering time September, October, November or December. Distribution Botanical Province South-West, IBRA Bioregion Avon Wheatbelt or Mallee.
