Rhizomatous, perennial, herb or (fern), 0.8-1 m high, fronds 1-pinnate; pinnae entire, acuminate; sori terminating veins, between margin and pinna midrib. Fl. May or Jul or Oct. Sheltered seepage areas on rock faces and crevices of gorges near water.
