Much-branched shrub, (0.1-)0.2-0.7(-0.9) m high. Fl. white/white-blue-purple, Jun to Dec or Jan or Mar. Yellow or red sand, gravelly sand. Sandplains, dunes.

Shrubs. Stems, cross section more or less circular. Peltate scales present. Leaves 5-12 mm long, 1.5-2 mm wide, opposite, entire, not bullate, not viscid. Margins entire. Bracteoles absent. Bracts present. 1.3-1.5. mm long Pedicel absent (flowers sessile) or present, 1-1.5 mm long, with dendritic hairs, peltate scales peltate scales present. Calyx with five lobes, 1.5-2.8 mm long, not accrescent, sparsely hairy, with simple hairs, not bullate. Corolla white or cream or mauve, purple, lilac or violet, 7-10 mm long, Dots or stripes in throat present, wih simple hairs, not viscid, with four stamens, style 2.5-6 mm long, filament 1.4-3.8 mm long, anthers 0.5-1 mm long. Appendage present. Flowering time January, March, June, July, August, September, October, November or December. Distribution Botanical Province Eremaeam or South-West, IBRA Bioregion Great Victoria Desert, Murchison, Coolgardie, Avon Wheatbelt or Mallee.
