Prostrate sprawling shrubs. Stems, cross section more or less circular. Peltate scales absent. Leaves 15-20 mm long, 1-2 mm wide, opposite, entire, with simple hairs, not bullate, not viscid. Margins entire. Bracteoles present, 5.5-8 mm long. Bracts absent. Pedicel present, 5-7 mm long, with simple hairs, peltate scales hairs present. Calyx with three lobes, 3-3.5 mm long, not accrescent, moderately dense, with simple hairs, not bullate. Corolla white or cream, mauve, purple, lilac or violet or red or pink, 18-24 mm long, Dots or stripes in throat present, wih simple hairs, not viscid, with four stamens, style 15-17 mm long, filament 4.5-12 mm long, anthers 1.2-4.5 mm long. Appendage present. Flowering time January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November or December.
