Shrubs or prostrate sprawling shrubs. Stems, cross section square or more or less circular. Peltate scales absent. Leaves 15-42 mm long, 3-9 mm wide, opposite, entire, with simple hairs, not bullate, not viscid. Margins entire. Bracteoles absent. Bracts present. 3-6. mm long Pedicel present, 0.5-2 mm long, with simple hairs, peltate scales hairs present. Calyx with five lobes, 1-3.5 mm long, not accrescent, with simple hairs, not bullate. Corolla mauve, purple, lilac or violet, 10-16 mm long, Dots or stripes in throat present, wih simple hairs, not viscid, with four stamens, style 4-8 mm long, filament 1-2.5 mm long, anthers 1.2-1.4 mm long. Appendage present. Flowering time August, September, October or November. Distribution Botanical Province South-West, IBRA Bioregion Geraldton Sandplains, Swan Coastal Plain, Avon Wheatbelt, Jarrah Forest, Warren or Esperance.
