Shrubs. Stems, cross section square. Peltate scales absent. Leaves 8-15 mm long, 2.5-10 mm wide, whorled, entire, with simple, gland tipped hairs hairs, not bullate, not viscid. Margins entire. Bracteoles absent. Bracts present. 1.3-3.2. mm long Pedicel present, 2.5-4 mm long, with simple, glandular hairs, peltate scales hairs present. Calyx with five lobes, 1.5-5.7 mm long, not accrescent, sparsely hairy, with simple, glandular hairs, not bullate. Corolla red, mauve, purple, lilac or violet or red or pink, 18-24 mm long, Dots or stripes in throat absent, wih simple hairs, not viscid, with four stamens, style 15-24 mm long, filament 1.5-1.8 mm long, anthers 0.5 mm long. Appendage present. Flowering time November. Distribution Botanical Province South-West, IBRA Bioregion Esperance. Conservation Code Priority Three (P3).
