Tussock-forming perennial, grass-like or herb, 0.3-1.3 m high, leaf blades extemely long, slender, panicle spiciform racemose, spikelets plump. Fl. Dec or Feb to May. Sandstone. Steep rocky slopes, crevices, cliffs & ridges.
