Affixed aquatic annual, herb, 0.1-0.25 m high, peduncle erect; calyx lobes 2; corolla lower lip semi-circular, apex 3-lobed, upper lip yellow. Fl. yellow & purple/violet, Oct to Nov. Clay, peat. Swamps, wet flats.
