Erect, branched shrub, 0.3-0.6 m high. Fl. blue-violet, Jun or Aug to Nov. Sand, gravel.

Stems unribbed. Leaves flat, 10-35 mm long, 4-15 mm wide, Indumentum hairy, with dense, dendritic hairs; margins entire or toothed. Bracteoles absent. Pedicellate, Pedicel length the pedicels 1.5-2.5 mm long, hairy, with simple, dendritic hairs. Calyx lobes present, Calyx length 0.7-1 mm long, hairy, with dense, dendritic hairs. Corolla blue, 10-15 mm long, auriculate, not spurred, hairy on the outside, with dense, dendritic hairs, glabrous on the inside; central lobes 4-6.5 mm long, with wings; outer lobes 5-6.5 mm long, wing present on both sides and clearly unequal, 0.7-1 mm wide on the narrower side, 1.2-2.2 mm wide on the broader side. Anthers connate. Ovary inferior, not gibbose; style 2.8-3 mm long, glabrous; indusium single, glabrous; ovules one or two. Flowers in June, July, August, September, October and November. Occurs in the Geraldton Sandplains (GS) IBRA Region(s), of the South West (SW) Botanical Province. Conservation Code: Conservation code Priority Three (P3).
