Prostrate to ascending, viscid annual, herb, 0.04-0.3 m high. Fl. yellow, Jan to Mar or Jun or Aug to Oct. Sandy & loamy soils. Breakaways, creek beds, granite outcrops.
Scientific Description
Stems unribbed. Leaves flat, 8-35 mm long, 0.7-8 mm wide, Indumentum present, with sparse, glandular hairs; margins entire. Bracteoles absent. Pedicel pedicellate, Pedicel length the pedicels 3-9 mm long, Indumentum present, Hair type with glandular hairs. Calyx lobes present, Calyx length 1.5-2.5 mm long, hairy, with sparse, glandular hairs. Corolla yellow, 8-10 mm long, auriculate, not spurred, hairy on the outside, with sparse, glandular hairs, glabrous on the inside; central lobes 3-4 mm long, with wings; outer lobes 3.5-3.7 mm long, wings present on both sides, 0.5-1 mm wide. Anthers free. Ovary inferior, not gibbose; style 3.5-5 mm long, hairy; indusium single, hairy; ovules more than two. Flowers in January, February, March, June, July, August, September and October. Occurs in the Pilbara (PIL), Yalgoo (YAL), Murchison (MUR), Great Victoria Desert (GVD), Coolgardie (COO), Carnarvon (CAR), Gascoyne (GAS), Gibson Desert (GD), Little Sandy Desert(LSD), Avon Wheatbelt (AW), Jarrah Forest (JF) and Mallee (MAL) IBRA Region(s), of the Eremaean (E) and South West (SW) Botanical Province.
